Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The web server is located in Lithuania. Hostinger processes the data as a processor.
When a page is requested, server logs may process the IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser and operating-system information, transferred data volume, country of origin, and status or error codes.
The processing supports secure and reliable website delivery, fault analysis and abuse prevention. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and uninterrupted operation of this website.
Server logs are deleted or anonymised according to Hostinger's technical retention settings when they are no longer required for service delivery, security and operation. They may be retained longer where required for legal obligations, disputes, abuse investigations or specific security incidents. Some log records may subsequently remain in anonymised or disassociated form.
Weekly website and database backups are stored in France. Under the current account settings, approximately seven weekly backup versions are available, corresponding to an observed retention period of about six weeks. Older versions are replaced as part of the backup cycle.
Contact enquiries
When you submit the form or send an email, the information you provide is processed. This includes your name, business email address, optional company or organisation, and your message.
The information is used to respond to your enquiry and to prepare or manage a potential business relationship. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where pre-contractual steps or a contract are involved, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the professional handling of business enquiries.
To limit automated abuse, the IP address and email address are briefly combined into a non-readable verification value. This value is automatically deleted after five minutes.
Enquiry data is deleted once the matter is complete and no business relationship, statutory retention duty or legitimate documentation need requires further storage.
Cookies and local storage
The current theme does not integrate analytics tools, advertising pixels or externally hosted fonts. WordPress, the hosting service or security components may use technically necessary cookies or similar storage, for example for authenticated administrators, security or delivery of a service expressly requested by the visitor.
Technically necessary operations are based on Section 25(2) TDDDG and, where personal data is processed, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If non-essential analytics, marketing or embedded services are added later, consent will be obtained before activation and this policy will be updated.
External links
The website contains a link to Muaadh Abo-Alrejal’s LinkedIn profile. No LinkedIn content, tracking pixel or social-media plugin is embedded in the page. Data is transferred to LinkedIn only after you choose to open the link. LinkedIn then processes data under its own privacy terms and responsibility.
Recipients and international transfers
Data is received only by providers required for hosting, technical administration or email communication, and where legally necessary by professional advisers or public authorities. Processors are engaged under Article 28 GDPR.
A transfer outside the European Economic Area takes place only when required for a service and when the conditions of Articles 44 et seq. GDPR are satisfied, for example through an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future.
To exercise your rights, contact info@ma-engineering.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The relevant authority is in particular the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany.
Security and policy updates
Appropriate technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. This policy will be revised if the website, its service providers or the applicable legal requirements change materially.
